LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) First Look

Earlier today, the LEGO South Korea Facebook Page, accidentally hit the wrong button and published an image of the LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290). The image isn’t too clear but you can clearly see the Cantina along with the 21 minifigures that are included in the set. It also lists the set as a September 16 release so the official announcement of it should be coming really soon. Although this is a “leak” and the post has been deleted, we are allowed to share it since it came from LEGO themselves.

LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) Revealed – Download Building Instructions

LEGO has inadvertently revealed a new LEGO Star Wars exclusive set with the Bespin Duel (75294). This set has been circulating on social media for the past week or so. This set features the iconic scene between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back. There’s no word on how it will be distributed as it was rumored to be the Star Wars Celebration 2020 exclusive. There are new rumors of it being available at LEGO Brand Stores in September but we’ll see if that happens or if it’ll go to Target like with the Darth Vader Bust from last year’s Celebration. If you are building it yourself, note there are new parts that are in the set including new minifigure parts. You can now download the building instructions for it before LEGO decides to take it down.

LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) D2C Rumored to be Coming Soon

There’s a new rumor going around for the next LEGO Star Wars direct-to-consumer set which is reported to be the Mos Eisley Cantina (75290). Word has it that it will be part of the Master Builder Series which is the playset style of exclusives. There’s no concrete details on what Mos Eisley will include but it was said the be released in September which is similar to what LEGO has done in the past. The price point could be around €349.99 and have up to 3,500 pieces. Again, these are purely speculation and I can’t confirm the validity of it as this is the first time I’ve heard of it. We’ll see in a few months. What do you want to see in the Cantina if this turns out to be true?

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Amazon Sale – July 2020

Amazon currently has the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on sale for $49.94 which is 17% off the regular price. It’s a little surprising that there’s already a sale on it even though we don’t have an official release date on it but it is rumored to be in October. The sale is for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

We don’t know much about the game yet but it has been reported there will be almost 500 playable characters that spans all nine Star Wars movies. In addition, there are ships you can unlock when you purchase some of the summer 2020 LEGO Star Wars sets using codes that are in the instructions.

LEGO Star Wars D2C Sets Accepting Orders on Shop@Home

Some of the LEGO Star Wars direct-to-consumer sets that have been out of stock since the pandemic started has now been relisted on Shop@Home and orders can be placed on them again. The only “problem” is that they are listed on backorder status and will ship in 60 days. Most of the time, it doesn’t take the whole 60 days for them to ship the order as it is just an estimated time.
