LEGO Super Mario Reported Expansion Set Names

There are now some details on some of the LEGO Super Mario expansion sets coming out of a Slovakian online shop. They are listed under the Leaf codenames but when you translate it, they give out the names of characters from the Super Mario franchise. Note that the names are translated so they aren’t the official names of the sets but you get the gist of it.

There are now official images of the LEGO Super Mario Super Mushroom Surprise (30385) polybag that is a free pre-order gift. The piece count is unknown at this time but you can get it with a pre-order of the Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) on Zavvi. This is currently the only place in the US to get this particular polybag. I’m not sure if other retailers will get it as well or not.

LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) Pre-Order at Target

Target now has the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) available for pre-order again after selling out a few days ago. It retails for $59.99 but if you have a Target REDcard, you can save $3 when you check out. There are no pre-order bonuses but looking at how fast all the pre-orders have been selling out, you may want to get it just to have it when it releases on August 1.

LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) Pre-Order on Zavvi

The LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) sold out of their pre-orders on LEGO Shop@Home in a few hours but if you’re still looking for it, Zavvi also has it available with a free gift. Their gift is the Super Mushroom Surprise Expansion Set (30385) which isn’t as big as the Monty Mole & Super Mushroom Expansion Set (40414) and is just a polybag. Until LEGO puts up more pre-orders on Shop@Home, there are only a few other retailers that offer it including Walmart.

The set has 163 pieces and you can get it for free with a pre-order of the Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360) on S@H which is now temporarily sold out. The set features Monty Mole along with Stone-Eye and a Super Mushroom which you can use to expand on the Starter Course. If you’re still looking to pre-order the Starter Course, Walmart still has it available.

LEGO has officially revealed details of the upcoming LEGO Super Mario theme. Available to pre-order today, the Starter Course retails for $59.99 and will be available on August 1. LEGO also announced two expansion sets with the Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set for $29.99 and Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set for $99.99. It looks like LEGO Shop@Home has unintentionally revealed another set for the upcoming LEGO Super Mario theme. It is called the Monty Mole & Super Mushroom Expansion Set (40414) and it has 163 pieces. It looks to be a free gift-with-purchase set judging by the set number. I’m going to assume you get it for free with a purchase of the Starter Course.

Fans can enjoy toppling Stone-Eye and launching Monty Mole while creating new challenges with this LEGO® Super Mario™ Monty Mole & Super Mushroom Expansion Set.

The Adventures with Mario Starter Course (71360), featuring the LEGO® Mario™ figure, is required for play with this Expansion Set.
