LEGO Ideas House from Up Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The House from Up by bramant1 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It features Carl and Ellie’s colorful house and it also includes the balloons. The project also proposes minifigures of Carl and Russell along with a brick-built Dug.

It now joins The Mountain Windmill, Community – Greendale Community College, LEGO HeroQuest, and Brickwest Studios as the projects to reach the Second 2020 Review Stage.

The Brick Fan RLFM Days 2020 Update

The 2020 Recognized LEGO Fan Media Days is coming up next week and we are wrapping up some of the questions we’ll be asking the LEGO Designers for various themes. We have an update on one of the topics that we will be attending which is the Confidential New Product. We can now confirm that it will be the new LEGO Brick Sketches that were just revealed a few days ago. We’ll be chatting up with Chris McVeigh on this topic so send in questions that you may have for him below. LEGO June 2020 Store Calendar Promotions & Events

LEGO Education Sets Now Available on Shop@Home

For the first time, LEGO is selling their LEGO Education line on Shop@Home which includes SPIKE Prime (45678) and WeDo 2.0. These sets were originally for educators but since more kids are staying home these days, parents can use the Education sets to teach them about coding and programming. For the younger kids, there’s also the DUPLO sets that introduces them to the world of STEAM through creative play.

Adam Savage Does LEGO Sorting

If you know Adam Savage from Tested/Mythbusters, you would know that he’s a big LEGO fan. His recent video on his Tested channel lets you see how he sorts his collection. Since he’s more of the hands-on DIY kind of person, he doesn’t resort to the usual storage solutions like Akro-Mils but instead he goes and builds his own system. On the same note, Brickset has been interviewing members of the LEGO community of how they do their storage which are some pretty good reads and it gives ideas on how to improve on your storage system.
