LEGO Ideas Central Perk (21319) Back in Stock on Shop@Home

The LEGO Ideas Central Perk (21319) is back in stock again on LEGO Shop@Home. Unfortunately, the last day to order for standard shipping in time for Christmas has passed but they do offer express shipping if you’re desperate. You can also use the inventory checker to see if there are some at your nearest LEGO Store.

On another note, Amazon also has the set and they state it will arrive before Christmas if you’re a Prime member.

LEGO Releases Video Discussing New Train Wheels

LEGO has released a new and rare video on the LEGO Ambassador Network featuring designers talking about the design change with the train wheels. The new wheels uses plastic instead of the metal axle and it allows for more flexibility when building your trains but there are other benefits. During the side by side comparison, the trains with the new wheels went around the track faster and it also improves battery consumption. Since the train wheels are made from plant based materials instead of using the metal bar, it is cheaper for LEGO to produce and that is passed down to us by giving more bricks in the sets. LEGO Disney Storybook Adventures Anna and Elsa’s Storybook Adventures (43175) Revealed

Last month, we got a look at the upcoming LEGO Disney Storybook Adventures sets which features the set inside of a new book mold and the characters in a more animated style design. There’s another set that has recently been revealed which is the Frozen II Anna and Elsa’s Storybook Adventures (43175). It has 133 pieces and the characters in the set include Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff. Inside the book, there are a number of play areas throughout.

Amazon Buy $50 LEGO Save $10

Amazon currently has a good sale going on for select LEGO products where you can save $10 when you spend $50. Honestly, I think the best deals are on the Blue and Gray baseplates as well as for the Tracks which are already on sale. There’s also a few good sets to choose from too but my money is on the baseplates and tracks.

LEGO Ideas Vintage Car Fan Vote Winner Announced

LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas vintage car fan vote which will become a future gift with purchase set. The grand prize winner is the Aedelsten deluxe by Versteinert with 1,449 votes and it was a landslide victory for it as it had 800 more votes than the first runner up. The design will now be sent to LEGO designers to create a small set that we’ll be able to get in the near future so stay tuned for the reveal on that.

It seems like good deals can still be found this late into the holiday shopping season as Walmart has one for the LEGO Technic Volvo Concept Wheel Loader ZEUX (42081). It is currently on sale for $89.99 which is almost 36% off the normal retail price. I’m not into too much Technic sets but the main model looks really good and it can also convert to the Volvo Concept Hauler PEGAX.
