LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Electro Minifigure Polybag (5002125) Promo at Toys R Us

As I reported earlier in the month, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Electro Minifigure Polybag (5002125) was available at various Toys R Us stores for $3.99 each. Unfortuantly for some like mine, the stores wouldn’t sell them because they were on hold for a promotion which starts today and ends on Saturday, May 16. For this promo, you can get the Electro polybag with any LEGO purchase of $30 or more. It’s nice if you still have some sets to purchase like the new LEGO Jurassic World sets but hopefully they’re still selling them individually while the promo is running. I’ll check in the morning to see if this is the case or not.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) Minifigure Polybag in June

Winter Soldier Promo

As we reported back in December, there will be an exclusive gift in the month of June with the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) minifigure with purchases of $75 or more. This particular promotion will last from June 1-30. This Winter Soldier polybag will be the first time featuring the character in minifigure form so there is understandably a high demand for it. What set(s) will you be getting to pick up the exclusive Winter Soldier along with it?

More LEGO Jurassic World Video Game Pre-Order Exclusives Revealed

LEGO Jurassic World Gallimimus Trap Polybag (30320)

Earlier today, the official LEGO Jurassic World Twitter account posted the Gamestop pre-ordericon exclusive for the game which is the Gallimimus Trap (30320) polybag. The exclusive polybag is cool and all but I’m not sure why the polybag is called Gallimimus Trap when the dinosaur being trapped looks more like a Compsognathus (Compy) or even a Coelophysis unless the meat on the trap itself is from a Gallimimus which is what I think LEGO was thinking when they created the set name. Although the bonus doesn’t show up yet on the LEGO Jurassic World product listings on Gamestop, you can still pre-order it and get it.

After doing some more research, I’ve concluded there’s an error with the polybag because the dinosaur included and listed on the bottom right says Gallimimus which is wrong. Gallimimus are toothless according to the official Jurassic World site. Plus they are omnivores but mostly eat plants so they probably won’t go after the piece of meat that’s in the trap. It seems that LEGO went the lazy route and just reused an existing mold and given it a repaint.

Target also has a pre-order bonus going for the LEGO Jurassic World video game and it is the Dr. Wu minifigure that we saw yesterday with the Amazon.de pre-order.

More Details on LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Joker Bumper Car (30303) Polybag

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Joker Bumper Car (30303)

Last year, we reported that the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Joker Bumper Car (30303) polybag was listed on Toys R Us’ website. Ever since we reported on the polybag, it has subsequently been taken off the website and there has been absolutely no word on it, until now. It was actually earlier this month on the Brickset Forums that a user by the name of Waynegg found out that the polybag was listed in Target’s inventory system. So somewhere between the end of last year and beginning of February, something must have happened with LEGO and Toys R Us with the polybag being pulled from their system and ended up in Target’s system. Waynegg did mention that “TRU and LEGO were at odds over the Bricktober sets when they started selling them as they were intended for giveaways” which was the case because they were being sold for $20 each so I guess future “exclusives” will be going to other retailers now.

The OP also has provided the UPC code for it (673419233743) as well as the DPCI (204-00-0479) and sure enough, the DPCI number does show up in the Target’s system. Another member of the forum also chimed in saying it’ll be showing up in March or April but it’s purely speculation. My suggestion is to keep checking up on the DPCI number and see when it actually shows up as available in the system. It’s not much more information than what we had before but it’s at least we now know that … Continue

Easter 2015 LEGO Polybags at Target Stores

Easter is still two months away but Target stores have started to stock their selection of LEGO polybags in the Easter section of the store. The first polybag is the LEGO City Garbage Truck (30313) which has 48 pieces and retails for $3.49. The Garbage Truck has been available at the impulse section of the checkout lanes since January but they decided to use them as Easter polybags as well. The other polybag is one that we’ve seen before in January’s LEGO promotion with the LEGO Friends Mini Golf (30203). It has 26 pieces and goes for $3.99.

LEGO City Go-Kart Racer (30314)

The official images of the LEGO City Go-Kart Racer (30314) polybag are now available for viewing. We first saw an image of it on our polybag round-up post when LEGO Customer Service updated their database last month. The only thing we know about it is that it contains 45 pieces according to the parts list. Notice that the build includes a Legends of Chima hand piece and a ray gun to create the engine. There’s no word on availability at this point in time.
