LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) Review

LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311)

When the LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) was first announced that would become an official set, my inner adult child was filled with joy. Some of you may know that I’m a huge fan of the show but I have pretty much collected a number of Voltron toys and to have this set in my hands is something I’ve never dreamed would have happened. For the background of the Voltron project on LEGO Ideas, Leandro Tayag was the fan designer and it only took him just three weeks to hit 10,000 supporters. As for the details of the set itself, it has 2,321 pieces and retails for $179.99 and will be available starting on July 23 for VIP members or August 1 for the general public.

LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path Book Review

LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path

One of the new DK books that will coming out this week is the LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path that I’ve reported on a few months back. The style of the book is similar to the classic Choose Your Own Adventure books where you assume the role of a character, in this case U-3PO, and you make choices to determine the story’s outcome. LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path has 128 pages and retails for $19.99 and it releases on June 5.

Minifigure

As with a majority of DK books, there usually is an exclusive LEGO minifigure included but for this one, it isn’t an exclusive. With the book, we get U-3PO which was previously found in the 2016 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75146). Unless I missed something, it is the exact minifigure and is basically a color swap of most recent version of C-3PO.

Book

As I mentioned before, LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Path is a story based book where you choose your way of how the story goes. There are three starting points to choose from, “Hunt the Sith,” “Fight the Empire,” or “Defeat the First Order.” For each page, it gives a short story in which you’ll have to find a way to continue the story by picking one of two ways and keep going until you find a good ending or it tells you to try again. There are more than 40 endings that you’ll be able to find.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) Review

LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192)

The largest set that LEGO has produced is the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) which comes in at a massive 7,541 pieces while costing a whopping $799.99. I’ve already done an unboxing on it so you can check it out if you want. With today being May the 4th, now is a very good time to finally release this review. First off, let me preface this review by saying sorry for the lateness of the review. My camera image data and part of the review got corrupted on my old laptop a few months ago and I’ve finally had time to rebuild and retype out what I’ve already done in between what was happening with Toys R Us and changing jobs. Things just weren’t going right the past few months.
