LEGO Life-Sized Luke Skywalker Model Revealed for SDCC 2017

LEGO has revealed another life-sized model for San Diego Comic Con 2017 with old Luke Skywalker and I feel this one will be very popular with the crowds. This model stands 6 feet tall and consists of 36,743 pieces. Luke joins the Flash and Thor as some of the models fans can take pictures of/with at SDCC.

They waited until the last minute to reveal it but LEGO has announced one of the exclusive minifigures they will be giving away during San Diego Comic Con 2017. TV Insider has revealed that Vixen from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will be available on Friday, July 21 and Sunday, July 23.

The procedure to get one is the same as previous years. At 12:30pm each day, head upstairs to the Pavilion Terrace to get in line to try your luck. People who aren’t able to attend can enter via Twitter. Stay tuned as Thursday’s and Saturday’s LEGO minifigure is announced soon.

LEGO Life-Sized Thor Model Revealed for SDCC 2017

San Diego Comic Con 2017 kicks off tomorrow night for attendees and there is another LEGO statue that they can check out. Entertainment Weekly has revealed the model of Thor from Thor: Ragnarok. It stands at 7 feet tall and consists of 33,495 pieces while taking builders 290 hours to create. Check out the time-lapse video below to see it being constructed. Thor now joins the Flash as two of the characters so far announced to be at SDCC 2017 and I expect a few more models there.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 SDCC 2017 Developer Interview

Some members of the design team for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be at San Diego Comic Con this week and I’ve just been invited to interview Arthur Parsons about the game. Like with The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game, let me know in the comments below of what would you like to know about LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. A few months ago, I reported on some rumored 2018 LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes sets. Today, Forbes has officially revealed three sets which will be shown off at San Diego Comic Con next week. The price points of the sets will range from $19.99 to $39.99.

The first set is is called Superman Krypto Team-Up (76096) and it includes minifigures of Superman, Lobo, and Krypto. The majority of the set is based on Lobo’s Spacehog.

LEGO The Big Bang Theory SDCC 2017 Bag

Every year at San Diego Comic Con, there are exclusive collectible bags that Warner Bros. provides to attendees. The bags feature a property of WB and one of the more notable bags for this year is for The Big Bang Theory. As you can see above, the bag has an image of the box art for the LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) set from a few years ago. It’s not as flashy as some of the other SDCC 2017 WB bags but I’ll be trying my best to get this particular one.

San Diego Comic 2017 is less than a week away and LEGO will have a fairly big presense there as usual. What I did not know about is that The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game be will be available for fans to try out.

I’ve been invited by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to do an interview with the developers from TT Games at SDCC. Here’s where you guys can take part as well.
