Official LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2015 Schedule

LEGO SDCC 2015 Schedule

Earlier today, LEGO tweeted out their official schedule for San Diego Comic Con 2015 including details for the retail exclusives as well as the the exclusive minifigure drawings including the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes All New Captain America (Sam Wilson) and LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Arsenal.

They have also listed out the schedule for their product reveals during the convention. On Thursday, July 9th, LEGO will be revealing the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Batmobile. On Friday, they’ll be revealing a LEGO Ninjago set. I’m guessing it’ll be the direct-to-consumer Ninjago Temple (70751). Finally, for their big finale on Saturday, July 11th, there will be a LEGO Star Wars reveal. We already know that the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Buildable Battle Figures Stormtrooper will be shown off there but hopefully there will be more sets displayed as well.

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) Featuring Peter Capaldi

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204)

LEGO today has posted the first real-life image of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) with Peter Capaldi holding a brick-built TARDIS. We previously saw the Doctor Who Level Pack on the back of some instructions and the set will contain the Twelfth Doctor with a sonic screwdriver as well as K-9. SDCC attendees will be able to play the Doctor Who level at the Hard Rock Hotel this Thursday through Saturday. As we know by now, Peter will be making an appearance at the Doctor Who panel at SDCC and who knows, he might even show up where LEGO Dimensions is set up for guests to try out.

Life-Size LEGO Models at SDCC 2015

Usually at the LEGO booth at San Diego Comic Con, there are life-size models of various characters from different themes. This year won’t be any different with the inclusion of the whole Scooby-Doo gang as well as The Mystery Machine. This model is made from 70,875 LEGO bricks and took over 525 hours to build it.

Another model that will be displayed at booth #2829 is LEGO Ninjago Lloyd. This version of Lloyd is the latest one where he is possessed by Morro and he is seen rappelling from the ceiling. This is the first time at SDCC that a model has done that. The model took 155 hours to create with 15,225 bricks.

I’m sure there will be more LEGO models being displayed at the booth and we’ll probably be seeing more as we get closer to next week.

LEGO Dimensions Coming to San Diego Comic Con 2015

LEGO Dimensions SDCC

LEGO Dimensions has just announced that the upcoming video game will be at San Diego Comic Con next week. You can play it hands-on at the Hard Rock Hotel in the Legends Ballrooms 1 & 2 from Thursday-Saturday from 3pm-7pm and on Sunday 10am-2pm. There are also limited edition LEGO Dimensions prints featuring Portal and Doctor Who when you try out the game. This also confirms that this will be the first time that we’ll be seeing gameplay of the Doctor Who Level Pack (71204).

In addition, there will be custom LEGO art by Nathan Sawaya displayed and you can take pictures with a life-size LEGO Scooby and Gandalf. You will be able to pre-order any LEGO Dimensions products and you can get an exclusive t-shirt, while supplies last.

If you’re attending SDCC, add on another event to attend to the large list of LEGO-related events that will be taking place throughout the convention.

LEGO SDCC 2015 Exclusive Set Official Box Art Images

SDCC 2015 LEGO Star Wars Dagobah Mini-Build

It looks like all the San Diego Comic Con 2015 LEGO exclusive sets have been revealed and there are now official box art images of the sets. What we didn’t know about the LEGO Star Wars Dagobah Mini-Build is that there will also be a R2-D2 minifigure included in the set. Although it’s not a new version, it’s nice that one is included. If there’s more sets to be revealed, I’ll add it on to this post.

On another note, I believe there’s still one more exclusive minifigure to be revealed because it was noted on a previous article that the drawings would be held from Thursday through Saturday. The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes All New Captain America (Sam Wilson) and LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Arsenal have already been revealed.
