LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) Toys R Us Promo Starts November 1

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948)

The Toys R Us holiday book is showing up in mailboxes now and in the LEGO section of the book, it shows the promotion for the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) here in the US. The minifigure polybag is free starting on November 1 with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $40 or more.

As we know by now, they are already available for $3.99 each at various locations. Some stores, like mine, are sticking to the street date rather than selling them early even though they have them in stock. Once the promo ends, they can pretty much be purchased for $3.99 if there are any left over by then. If you’re actively looking for them, the TRU item number is 169326.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) Showing Up at Toys R Us

If you have a Toys R Us nearby, you may want to check it because the new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) minifigure polybag is now on the sales floor. Apparently, they’re selling for $3.99 each but I’ve heard that it was part of a promotion either in November or December. Like with other minifigure polybags, you might need a manager to override the hold as they’re supposed to be part of a future promotion. The item number 169326. Good luck on your search.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Theatrical Poster Recreated in LEGO

Yesterday, Star Wars revealed the official poster for The Force Awakens and it didn’t take very long for someone to recreate it in LEGO. This has been making the rounds today on social media but Macro LEGO Universe has pretty much spot on made the official poster using LEGO minifigures.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys R Us X-Wing Building Event

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Toys R Us X-Wing

Yesterday, I talked about some of the upcoming building events for October. Hoth Bricks has found a new Toys R Us building event for a mini LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens X-Wing Fighter. This event will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 12-2pm. This X-Wing is Poe Dameron’s version and is slightly different from previous X-Wings we’ve seen from Toys R Us. Mark your calendars because I expect this building event to be very popular ahead of the release of The Force Awakens in December.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rey’s Speeder (75099) Review

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rey's Speeder (75099)

In my second review of the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets, I have the smallest set in the initial wave, Rey’s Speeder (75099). We first saw a clear shot of the vehicle in the teaser trailer last year and LEGO has decided to include it in this wave. The set contains 193 pieces and retails for $19.99 which isn’t a bad price point. The contents of the box include two numbered bags and an instruction booklet.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon (75105) Review

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon (75105)

Last week on Force Friday, LEGO released the new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets to the public. Let’s hit the set reviews off with a bang and do the biggest set in the wave first, the Millennium Falcon (75105). Everyone was excited when the Falcon showed up in the first teaser trailer and we knew it was coming back for Episode VII. Of course, LEGO had to update the 2011 (7965) version so it’ll correspond to the one in the upcoming movie. The new Millennium Falcon (75105) has 1329 pieces and retails for $149.99. There are ten numbered bags, one un-numbered bag of plates, and a bagged instruction booklet with sticker sheet. Be warned, there may be some speculation and minor spoilers in The Force Awakens LEGO set reviews.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter (30276) Polybag Image

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter (30276)

Earlier today, I’ve received an email from a reader named Gonzalo who sent me images of the first building set polybag for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter (30276). There was no mentioning of where it came from, where it will be available at, or the price of it (if any).

There is also another The Force Awakens LEGO polybag with the C-3PO (5002948) minifigure polybag which I believe will be available in November at Toys R Us with a purchase.
