LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) Polybag

It was revealed a few a while back but there will be a polybag associated with Star Wars: The Force Awakens which is a C-3PO (5002948) minifigure polybag. As you can see, this version of C-3PO is a little different from the usual versions we’ve seen since has a red arm for some reason which will be revealed in the movie this December.

There are two different offers for the polybag in the US as far as I know. One is a LEGOLAND Florida special offer where purchases of $35 or more from September 7 to September 28 will net you on of these polybags. The other offer hasn’t been officially announced yet but I heard that it will be available at Toys R Us with a certain purchase amount in November. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Set Images and Descriptions

The past half day or so, there have been official unveilings of various Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys including the new LEGO Star Wars sets at the Star Wars Global Toy Unboxing event. Below are the official images and descriptions of the TFA sets minus the First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter (75101) which will be unveiled sometime later today. I’ll update this post when they’re available. All the sets will be available starting at midnight local time at Force Friday.

Two More LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Sets Officially Revealed

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order Transporter (75103)

Overnight, two more LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets have been unveiled at the Star Wars Global Toy Unboxing event. The first of the two sets is the First Order Transporter (75103) at Cape Town, South Africa. It contains 792 pieces and retails for $89.99. You can watch that unboxing here.

The other LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens set that was unveiled earlier today was Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle at Berlin, Germany. Set designer, Niels Fredriksen was there with some fans with the reveal. The set contains 1004 pieces and retails for $119.99. You can see the whole unboxing over at this link on YouTube.

I expect more LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets will be revealed later today leading up to Force Friday.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Poe’s X-Wing Fighter (75102) Officially Revealed

It looks like today is the start of some big news regarding LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets. During the Star Wars Global Toy Unboxing event, the first set has officially announced by Disney/Lucasfilm in Seoul, South Korea, Poe’s X-Wing Fighter (75102). Many of you have been probably already seen it but this is the first time that we’re able to actually show images of the set. Regarding LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Set Images

For the past couple of days, there has been a disturbance in the force regarding the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens set images. I have been getting a ton of emails of people notifying me about the official images being released. Yes, I have seen them and they look great. Some have also wondered why I haven’t posted any of the images. The reason is that we’re “supposed” to be under an embargo and are not allowed to post them. When those images came out, I emailed the LEGO CEE Team and wanted to confirm that we shouldn’t post them. Their response was simply. “Yes, the embargo remains.”

There have been quite a few big name sites that did post them which may make it seem that it would be okay to but I won’t be following in those footsteps. The reason is because I’m one of the newer members of the LEGO Ambassador Network and don’t want to jeopardize my working relationship with The LEGO Group just because of a couple of images. There was an request/agreement back in June to not post any of the TFA sets until we were allowed to and I will be sticking to that agreement.

Yes, this is big news and we’ve been waiting a long time for these TFA images but I’m pretty sure LEGO didn’t want them to be released this way. I am not looking for page views and whatnot. Just because some some sites have posted them doesn’t mean that I should. If this … Continue

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Battle Figures Stormtrooper Revealed

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Stormtrooper

Entertainment Weekly has given our first look at the new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Buildable Battle Figures Stormtrooper. This version of the Stormtrooper is the new First Order variant that will be seen in the upcoming Star Wars movie.

The set will consist of 81 pieces and stand 9 inches tall but no mention of the pricing. It’ll be available on January 1, 2016 but you can get your first close up look at it in next month’s San Diego Comic Con. I’ll be there when it is shown off to the public so you can be sure that I’ll be taking lots of pictures of it from different angles.
