The LEGO Batman Movie Killer Croc Tail-Gator (70907)

Next up on my reviews of The LEGO Batman Movie sets, I’ll be taking a look at the Killer Croc Tail-Gator (70907). The set has a modest 460 pieces and will retails for a not-so-modest $69.99. The contents of the box include four numbered bags, two instruction booklets, and a sticker sheet.

The LEGO Batman Movie Costumes Now Available on Amazon

The LEGO Batman Movie Costume

Last year, I reported that Disguise would be releasing official costumes for The LEGO Batman Movie and it looks like they are now available over on Amazon. Currently, I can only find the Batman costume but there will also be Batgirl as well.

Like with the LEGO Ninjago costume I reviewed last year, Batman will come in three sizes in both Deluxe and Prestige versions. The costume has six pieces to it including the tunic with detachable cape, pants, mask, and a pair of hands. The Prestige version will have the minifigure leg design.

Who says costumes are only for Halloween. With The LEGO Batman MOvie hitting theaters next month, why not have your own little Batman with you while watching the movie.

Deluxe Small (4-6)
Deluxe Medium (7-8)
Deluxe Large (10-12)

Presige Small (4-6)
Presige Medium (7-8)
Presige Large (10-12)

The LEGO Batman Movie Chaos in Gotham City Activity Book Amazon Sale

The LEGO Batman Movie Chaos in Gotham City Activity Book

Amazon currently has The LEGO Batman Movie: Chaos in Gotham City Activity Book on sale for $6.59 which is 27% off the regular price of $9.99. The book also includes the exclusive Tartan Batman minifigure variant which fans will want to collect as well. The book may not appeal to adults as they are geared towards kids as with other activity books but the minifigure alone is worth the price especially when it is on sale. The LEGO Batman Movie: Chaos in Gotham City will be released on January 31.

The LEGO Batman Movie Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522) Polybag Review

The LEGO Batman Movie Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522)

Following up on my review of The LEGO Batman Movie The Joker Battle Training (30523) polybag, I have another one that was sent in by LEGO for review which is the Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522). This 59 piece polybag is now available at Target stores in the Valentine’s section for $3.99.

Minifigure

Batman is the same version as in the clayface Splat Attack (70904) and the Scarecrow Special Delivery (70910). He has the usual black suit with a smirk and angry grimace. His accessory is a Batarang.

Build

The only part of the build is the what appears to be the Phantom Zone. If you’re not familiar with the Phantom Zone, it’s a realm in the DC Superman Universe where it is used for a means of imprisonment. The LEGO Batman Movie: The Essential Guide has some little spoilers of why the Phantom Zone is in the movie which I won’t post here.

The design of it is very complex looking especially for a polybag and uses two Travis bricks as part of the base of the build. There are a lot of dark red parts that are used such as some 1×3 plates, 1×1 clips, as well as some headlight bricks which are pretty rare so far. There’s also some trans-blue dishes on the outer edges.

Around the outer sections are covered with lightsaber blades, harpoons, and claws. I don’t know about you but these seem like defense mechanisms of the Phantom Zone. Finally, there is a clear dish and antenna to … Continue

The LEGO Batman Movie Toys Coming to McDonald’s

It looks like LEGO and McDonald’s will be teaming up again this year for some toys for The LEGO Batman Movie. I’ve been sent the above image showing a part of a Happy Meal box which shows there will be some sort of promotion for the movie next month but doesn’t say what it will be.

If you remember from 2014, LEGO did a McDonald’s promotion for The LEGO Movie with some Action Cups. Hopefully we get something similar or better for The LEGO Batman Movie. I’m sure fans would want some actual LEGO but that hasn’t happened for a long time.

If anyone knows the source of the image, please let me know and I’ll give proper credit.

Update: We now have our first look at the toys. Check them out here.

The LEGO Batman Movie 2-in-1 Super Pack (66546)

The LEGO Batman Movie 2-in-1 Super Pack (66546)

It looks like there is an exclusive Walmart 2-in-1 Super Pack for The LEGO Batman Movie that has shown up online. The Super Pack includes The Joker Balloon Escape (70900) and The Riddler Riddle Racer (70903) but it also includes a poster that we haven’t seen before.

The only sketchy thing about the set is that it is listed at $89.98 which is way above the price if you combined the two sets which comes out to $44.98 and I’m pretty sure that the poster doesn’t cost $45 unless it is gold plated. You can use Brickseek to check if there’s any of the Super Packs around you but it looks like it’s only online at this time.

More The LEGO Batman Movie Character Images Found

Polka Dot Man

The news doesn’t stop when it comes to The LEGO Batman Movie. Some internet sleuths have found some new images of a few characters that will be showing up in the movie but there’s reports of them coming in some summer 2017 sets as well.

First we have Polka Dot Man whom fans have been wanting a minifigure of since he was shown in the trailers. Well it looks like it may happen because there’s a rumor that he may be showing up in a future set.

Next up, we have Bane who we’ve seen before. He’ll be in a set that has a six-wheel vehicle of some sort.

Bane

Following that is Mutant Leader who is also rumored to be in the Bane set mentioned above.

Finally, you may have seen glimpse of them in the trailer but we also have some Flying Monkeys as well as the Wicked Witch. How they will be part of The LEGO Batman Movie remains to be seen but it sure is interesting.
