The LEGO Batman Movie Batman Battle Pod (5004929) LEGOLAND Promotion

The celebrate the launch of The LEGO Batman Movie on home media, LEGOLAND California has finally released information on how to get the Batman Battle Pod (5004929) polybag.

Merlin, Ambassador, and LEGOLAND California Pass Members will have a special promotion going from June 6-30, 2017 in which you can get the polybag for free with purchases of $20 or more in LEGO Batman products.

The promotion will be available for all park guests beginning on June 13 with purchases of $50 or more.

The offer is only valid in The BIG Shop at LEGOLAND California, while supplies last. I’m not sure if LEGOLAND Florida will have a similar promotion or not.

The LEGO Batman Movie Rumored 2018 Sets

The summer 2017 LEGO Batman Movie haven’t officially been released on Shop@Home yet but there’s already rumors of some 2018 TLBM sets coming from Delta Customs.

The first set is Batman Dune Buggy which includes minifigures of Batman and Captain Boomerang. The other set is called Egghead’s Food Fight which has Egghead’s mech and also includes Condiment King. It’s interesting that LEGO may be releasing another wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets next year. There has already been talks of another minifigures series for the movie as well.

Note that the images used are not leaked images of the sets as they come from The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie book which I highly recommend as it does give a lot of behind-the-scenes things such as concept art, sketches, and builds. They also might not be the final versions of the rumored sets but at least we have an idea of what they could look like. Some more future sets may also be hidden in plain sight in this book.

The LEGO Batman Movie The Ultimate Batmobile (70917) Review

I’ve received the summer 2017 wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets for review courtesy of LEGO and why not kick it off big with The Ultimate Batmobile (70917). The set contains 1,456 pieces and will retail for $139.99. The official release date is June 1 but there are some store already stocking them.

The LEGO Batman Movie Arkham Asylum (70912) Review

If you follow my Instagram page, you probably would have seen that I’ve recently received the summer 2017 wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets. Due to my short vacation last week and also busy reviewing some of the recent LEGO Minecraft sets, there’s one last TLBM set from the initial wave to review, Arkham Asylum (70912). It consists of 1,628 pieces and goes for $149.99 which is a decent $0.09/piece especially for a licensed set.

The LEGO Batman Movie Toys R Us Blu-Ray Bundle

More details about store exclusive bundles for the home version of The LEGO Batman Movie have been revealed. I’ve been notified by a reader that Toys R Us will also have a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD bundle available which includes The Mini Batmobile (30521) polybag for $34.99. This polybag is the same one that was available a few months ago at TRU.

This bundle adds on to the list of other store exclusives that I’ve reported on earlier which includes a lunchbag from Walmart, the Batgirl (30612) minifigure polybag and postcards from Target, and a SteelBook from Best Buy.

The LEGO Batman Movie 2017 Hallmark Ornament

If you’re a collector of the LEGO Hallmark Ornaments and was disappointed that there wasn’t one last year, you’ll be glad to know that there will be one this year. In previous years besides last year, Hallmark has been releasing LEGO ornaments and it looks like they’ll be releasing one later this year for The LEGO Batman Movie. In the Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book, they have listed Batman (QX12215) to be available later this year for $15.95.
