The LEGO Movie Accessory Pack Revealed

A seller on eBay has gotten a hold of a new Accessory Pack polybag from The LEGO Movie. This Accessory Pack contains a lot of goodies to promote the movie including stickers, a lenticular keychain featuring Benny, a mini Ice Cream Machine van, a mini Trash Chomper, and instructions for both mini builds. This polybag will be available for free from January 20 – February 16 at LEGO Stores, while supplies last. All you have to do is to show off your building skills and displaying your creation at the store.

Toys R Us has now listed a majority of The LEGO Movie sets on their website including new detailed images. The sets will be available on December 29th at TRU as well as on Shop@Home.

The LEGO Movie Collectible Minifigures (71003) Found at Target

The LEGO Movie Series 12 Collectible Minifigures (71003)

A few people have emailed me that The LEGO Movie Collectible Minifigures (71003) have started to show up at Target stores. They were found at the Christmas stocking stuffers section in the back of the store. They weren’t supposed to be sold until January 1st but some have started to be sold in stores. Try to keep an eye out for them if you want to be one of the first to get them before the official release date.

The LEGO Movie Video Game EB Games Preorder Bonus

Brick Fanatics has reported that EB Games Australia is taking pre-orders going for The LEGO Movie Video Game and as a bonus, you will be getting an exclusive Emmet minifigure. This particular Emmet will be wearing a poncho over his normal outfit and a cowboy hat. As of this time, they are the only ones who have a preorder bonus but they are owned by Gamestop so we can probably expect something here in the US as well. We’ll be reporting on any pre-orders that happen here in the US.

The LEGO Movie Video Game VGX Announcement Trailer

Yesterday was VGX 2013 and there were a lot of game trailers shown but the trailer for The LEGO Movie video game was not shown during the broadcast. Instead, Warner Brothers Interactive released the announcement trailer on YouTube. It shows some scenes of the movie as well as some gameplay footage. The game will include more than 90 playable characters from the film and 15 levels. The LEGO Movie video game will be released in February 2014 and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, and PC. Also check out our footage of the game taken from San Diego Comic Con 2013.

The LEGO Movie Ice Cream Machine (70804) Alternate

Today, LEGO has revealed a couple of images from The LEGO Movie sets that are marked “2 in 1” which have alternate builds, the Ice Cream Machine (70804), Trash Chomper (70805), and Castle Cavalry (70806). Each set utilizes what LEGO is best at, building different things using the same bricks in the set and I must say that the alternate builds look pretty nice.
