Steam is having a LEGO Weekend Sale on a lot of LEGO video games. The sale is a minimum of 66% off the normal retail price up to 75% on a few of them. The same games are also available on Humble Bundle at the same prices. The only difference is that you can also support charity with your purchase on Humble Bundle. LEGO Jurassic World Video Game “Exclusive” Minifigure Revealed

We all know that it’s tradition now that LEGO video games will be including an exclusive minifigure and we’ve been patiently waiting for the minifigure reveal for the LEGO Jurassic World video game. Jurassic Bricks has found that Amazon.de has revealed the minifigure and it’s going to make a lot of people sad and/or disappointed. As you can see from the image above, we’ll be a Dr. Henry Wu minifigure which is pretty much the exact same one as in the Indominus Rex Breakout (75919) set.

As a fan of Jurassic Park, I would’ve thought that one of the main characters from the first movie like John Hammond, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, or Ian Malcolm would be a great minifigure and be more exclusive but instead we get one that will already be in an upcoming set. Not only that, it’s the exact same minifigure. Hopefully this is for the German release of the LEGO Jurassic World video game and the US version will get their own exclusive but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Update: Gamestop and Target has revealed their pre-order exclusives for the game.

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin Villains Image

Warner Bros. has recently released an image of the villains that will be in the upcoming LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin handheld video game that will be released next week. From the image above, you can see the main villain with Ronin as well as others in the Ninjago Universe including Master Chen, Frankjaw, Skales, and Cryptor.

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin will be available on March 24 exclusively for Playstation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.

There is a new threat in Ninjago, and he goes by the name of Ronin. With help from his army of dark samurai, Ronin steals the Ninjas’ memories using an ancient weapon called the Obsidian Glaive. LEGO Jurassic World Video Game Official Box Art and Screenshots

Late last night, we reported that the full trailer for LEGO Jurassic World Video Game was online for viewing. This morning, we were sent images of the official box art for the game as well as some screenshots.

No LEGO The Hobbit The Battle of Five Armies DLC Being Released

It’s almost been a year since the LEGO The Hobbit Video Game was released which included the first two films in The Hobbit trilogy with An Unexpected Journey and Desolation of Smaug. Many fans have been waiting for a DLC for The Battle of Five Armies to complete the trilogy and TT Games has been pretty mum on whether or not a DLC would even be coming out.

Gamespot today has confirmed with Warner Bros. that there will not be a DLC for the third movie. There are also no plans for a completely new game based on The Battle of Five Armies. Below is Warner Bros. full statement on the issue:

“The LEGO The Hobbit videogame gives LEGO and Middle-earth fans a fun, new way to experience the legendary adventures of Bilbo and company as told in the first two films of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy. The game provides an excellent set-up for the concluding chapter of Peter Jackson’s film, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. There are no plans to develop DLC based on the final film of the trilogy.”

It was stated unofficially last year at the London Toy Fair that the final part of the trilogy would come as a DLC that would need to be created. Time went by and fans have been asking when the DLC would be coming. I had no answer as there was nothing announced for it. Time when by and questions kept coming in with no response until today.

When we first reported the new LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin that will be available for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, we had a temporary release date for this summer. Both Amazon and GameStop have updated the release date of the game to March 24. Both versions of the game will retail for $29.99 and we now also have some screenshots of it as well.
