The LEGO Movie Video Game VGX Announcement Trailer

The LEGO Movie Video Game

Yesterday was VGX 2013 and there were a lot of game trailers shown but the trailer for The LEGO Movie video game was not shown during the broadcast. Instead, Warner Brothers Interactive released the announcement trailer on YouTube. It shows some scenes of the movie as well as some gameplay footage. The game will include more than 90 playable characters from the film and 15 levels. The LEGO Movie video game will be released in February 2014 and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, and PC. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Character Cards and Giveaway

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Poster

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game Facebook page has been releasing cards for some of the characters in the game and have been asking fans to share the image 50 times to unlock subsequent ones. In total, there were 21 characters revealed and each card shows a short description of the character as well as their special abilities or attributes. Today, LEGO Marvel revealed their giveaway for the brick-built Hulk figure that Arthur Parsons has been bringing around to different panels. Simply “like” and comment what your favorite Hulk moment in the game was for you and you’re entered. Unfortunately, the contest for the Hulk is only for residents of the United Kingdom. One lucky winner will be randomly tomorrow.

LEGO The Hobbit Video Game Officially Announced

Last week, we reported the LEGO The Hobbit video game was teased on the back of the instruction booklets of the sets. Today, Warner Brothers and TT Games has officially announced the latest LEGO video game based on the first two movies of the Hobbit Trilogy. The game will be available spring 2014 on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintento Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PC and Mac. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a cool little infographic for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. It highlights some neat facts about various characters in the game. Did you even wonder how long it would take Howard the Duck to swim across Central Park Lake or how long it takes Iron Man to fly across Manhattan? Well this infographic will tell exactly how long it would take to accomplish those tasks.

We’ve played the game and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. We’ve done a review for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for the Playstation 3 version. We also did a handy guide on how to get the Deadpool Red Bricks if you need help finding them.

Continuing with our reports of LEGO video games, Brickset member sidersdd has given a preview of the LEGO The Hobbit video game on the back of the instruction booklets of the 2014 Hobbit sets. The game will be released sometime in 2014 on all the major platforms including the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC. We’ll have more details as they become available.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Box Art

The box art and the press release for The LEGO Movie video game has been released for the public. The game was revealed at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con which you can see a couple of short videos I took below. The LEGO Movie video game will be released around the time the actual movie is released in February 2014.

In February 2014, The LEGO® Movie Videogame will rise to the occasion for Xbox One®, Xbox 360®, PlayStation 4®, PlayStation®3, Wii U™ consoles, as well as Nintendo 3DS™ and PlayStation® Vita handheld entertainment systems and PC.

The LEGO® Movie Videogame will bring players into the humorous and action-packed role of Emmet, an ordinary LEGO minifigure mistakenly thought to be “The Special”—a character prophesized to save the world from an evil LEGO tyrant. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Red Deadpool Brick Guide

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Deadpool

Hidden throughout the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game, there are Red Bricks or Deadpool Bricks that you can collect to unlock various Red Brick cheats from the menu. After you collect a Deadpool Brick, head to the Control Room in the SHIELD Helicarrier and go through a hallway on the upper left side of the room. In the next area, go to the first door on the right which is Deadpool’s room. There you can buy all the cheats for the bricks you have collected. After you have bought the cheats, just activate them in the pause menu under Extras. Once you have bought all the Red Bricks, Deadpool will be a playable character.

Where to find: Go to the Daily Bugle. Use Telekinesis character to arrange the trophies in the office.
