LEGO Marvel Super Heroes PS3

At the Eurogamer Expo developer session, Arthur Parsons and TT Games showed off some gameplay of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. Throughout the session, he gives commentary of the playthrough and gives various details of the game as well as a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

First, there are over 30 voice actors for the characters in the game including Gregg Clark and Nolan North. Like we mentioned before in previous articles, there will be at least 150 playable characters and since it was gaming event, Arthur decided to reveal some new characters including Carnage, Union Jack, Emma Frost, Whiplash, Ms. Marvel, and Venom BigFig. Finally, Arthur mentions there will be a demo coming out very shortly. Shortly meaning really soon because there’s only a couple of weeks left before the game comes out LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be released on October 22 here in the States and there’s still time to preorder the game from various retail stores with exclusive bonuses. Walmart still has their deal for the Iron Patriot minifigure going while Gamestop has the Spider-Man keychain and DLC pack bonuses.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Xbox 360 Achievements

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Xbox 360 Achievements

We are now exactly one month away from the release of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game and Xbox360Achievements.org has posted 45 different achievements you can get for the Xbox 360 system for a total of 1000 points. This list also gives us some details of the game that we haven’t seen before. First, there are 15 levels in the game with the stage names. Another detail is some new characters that haven’t been seen on confirmed character lists such as Kraven the Hunter, Electro, and the Black Cat. In addition, there is an achievement called “Ultimate True Believer” where you have to unlock all the True Believers. Doing a little research, the True Believers are some obscure Spider-man villains and have four members in the group: Payback, Headtrip, Red Zone, Battalus. I haven’t heard of these characters but it may look like they’ll be in the game as well.

There is also an achievement called “Guardians of the Galaxy” where you unlock all the characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy. This means that there could be more than one character from the team in the game. The only one that is confirmed is Rocket Raccoon but could also include Drax the Destoryer, Gamora, Groot, and/or Starlord.

Finally, there are a couple of fun achievements such as one called “The Toast of Croydon” in which you create a character called “Trevor.” *Spoiler Alert* If you remember from Iron Man 3, Trevor was the actor who pretended to be the Mandarin and he was mentioned … Continue

Unlocking Stan Lee Character in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game

Stan Hulk

When I first saw the Stan Lee character for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game at SDCC 2013, I started thinking of how to get the character. I knew it was going to be fairly difficult since it’s Stan Lee and plus he has a bunch of other super heroes’ powers. Yesterday, IGN has posted some details on how we are able to unlock the character with the help of TT Game Director Arthur Parsons:

Stan Lee’s groupies, for example, won’t be able to unlock the comic book icon by simply sticking to the critical path. As Parsons explains, recruiting Spidey’s co-creator into your roster is one of the title’s most involved tasks. “We have 50 Stan Lee’s in various perilous situations. In one of them he drinks this toxic soda and transforms into Stan Hulk, and you end up having to beat him up; when you beat him up, he transforms back to Stan and he’s like ‘Excelsior, thank you!’, and off he runs. Once you’ve rescued all 50, you then get to unlock Stan as a playable character.”
