Brick Envy has acquired the rarest and most expensive LEGO brick in existence and is selling it for a mere $14,449.99. This 2×4 brick is made of 14 caret solid gold and weighs in at 25.65g. The brick is stored in it’s original custom box that is embossed with the older LEGO logo and sits on a velvet interior.
This masterpiece was given to LEGO employees at the Hohenwestedt, Germany factory who had 25 years of employment as well as exclusive business partners of LEGO. Only one or two of these rare pieces were given out from 1979-1981 so only a few exist in the world. Working anywhere for 25 years is a big milestone and LEGO rewarded their employees very nicely for their anniversary.
If you have $14,500 laying around and want to own one of the rarest LEGO bricks ever, head over to Brick Envy and snatch up this beauty.
